Recall Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi was the subject of discussions on both the traditional media space and on social media platforms last week after his two prophecies about the Copa America and the European championships failed.

The ‘Man of God’ last Saturday before the finals of the Copa America between host nation Brazil and Argentina revealed that per what ‘God’ has revealed to him, Brazil was going to win the championship by beating Argentina.

Well, the prophecy wasn’t fulfilled when at the end of the match Argentina had beaten Brazil by a lone goal kind courtesy Paris Saint German’s winger Angel Di Maria to win the nations’ 15th Copa America title and the first senior title for about 27 years.

He during his Sunday Service sermon didn’t back down from talking about football as he again prophesied that host nation England will beat Italy in the finals of the 2020 European championship but at the end of the day, it was Italy who won the title by beating the host nation at Wembley sports stadium.

In an attempt to defend himself and hit back at trolls on social media, Badu Kobi in his sermon delivery yesterday blamed those who engage in sports betting as the reason the prophecies weren’t fulfilled.

He said people tried to used the ‘word of God’ to make money for themselves by staking bets on the basis of his prophecies and God showed them His word can’t be used for gambling.
