I Don’t Normally Mention ‘Jesus’ In My Songs Because I Have A Broad Audience- Minister OJ

Top Ghanaian Gospel musician Michael Oware Sakyi, better known in the Gospel fraternity and in as Minister OJ has revealed the reasons why he normally doesn’t mention ‘Jesus’ in my songs.

Minister OJ said he has a broad target audience which consists of many people from different kinds of religious backgrounds and his main motive is to inspire and motivate them with his kind of songs in their day-to-day activities and the happenings in life.

The ‘Adom Ne Odo’ hitmaker stated his type of song talks about what people go through in life and it’s to tell them not to give up in life. He said that is the trend God showed him to go and he’s not ready to change his style.

In an exclusive interview this morning on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM with renowned disc jockey and rapper Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show, Minister OJ said people will be amazed to see the kind of huge fan base he has in the Ghanaian Muslim Community.

He revealed that he has been in an encounter with so many Muslim brothers and sisters who have shared their experience of how his songs changed their lives one way or the other although they are not from the same faith.

The ‘Obi Nya W’aye’ crooner stated he doesn’t necessarily have to be mentioning ‘Jesus’ and ‘God’ in his songs for people to understand what he normally does.
