Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu has been appointed as the Director, Army Public Relations as the Nigerian Army(NA) released posting and appointments of senior officers.
In a statement by the army, Major General C.G. Musa will take the place left vacant by the appointment of the COAS as the new Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai in the North East.
Until his current appointment Brigadier General Nwachukwu was the Acting Director Defence Information. He equally served as the Deputy Director Public Relations, Headquarters Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole, now Operation Hadin Kai.

Described as a seasoned and trained Public Relations Officer, the new Image Maker of the Nigerian Army is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
