Rapper, Kwesi Arthur, in a recent interview has defended his fellow Ghanaian musicians who missed out on this year’s BET award nominations.

No single Ghanaian musician was nominated for this year’s BET awards whiles Nigeria’s top musicians Burna Boy and Wizkid made the list as well as Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz.
Other acts from France, UK and Brazil are also captured in the category.
As a result, the current crop of Ghanaian musicians was heavily criticised for their inability to get a nomination for the award.
But Kwesi Arthur, in his response, thinks those who got nominated deserve it more than those who were not.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM, Kwesi Arthur said; “The people who were nominated, I think, deserved it better than those who didn’t. Who do you think deserved to be nominated in the BET Best International Act Category? “
