Legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician, George Kwabena Adu, well known as Kwabena Kwabena has lamented how he called on five artists to feature on his yet-to-be-released album and yet only one of them showed up.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, the highlife sensation said that he invited a couple of artiste to feature on the album, sung the songs to them, and even placed special phone calls to them but all efforts proved futile.
He said that even after he personally spoke to the acts themselves, they directed him to their respective managers which to him was very uncalled. He also stated that he had to follow up with the necessary procedures just to get them on board but for six whole months, none of them showed interest so he had to leave them out of the album.
Kwabena Kwabena also said that most of these artists he called on are the young stars currently controlling the scenes but it unfortunate that none of them showed him the necessary respect to respond to his calls but the only artiste who responded to his call was the award-winning songstress, Efya
According to him, he isn’t bothered about the fact that these artiste refused to show up after his numerous reach-outs to them but it is rather unfortunate that they had to disrespect him when he has shown so much respect to their respective brands.
He continued by saying that he did not want to collaborate with these artistes because they will make his album a hit but he felt that they were fit to collaborate with on the album.
