One artiste who is mostly recommended when it comes to writing songs about the struggle the people goes through each day is multi-talented Ghanaian singer, rapper and songwriter Worlasi.

A twitter fan has also revealed that the rapper and singer talked about this current #FixTheCountry campaign trending in social media long ago but Ghanaians didn’t listen. He said the people should go back and listen to Worlasi’s ‘The Man & The God’ album as the rapper tackled the same issues the people are talking about today.

‘The Man and The God’ album was released by Worlasi and Senkulive band in December 2019. The 10 track-listed album which has some songs like ‘Okwasia’, ‘4 years’, ‘Chant’, ‘Woezor’, ‘Fokoo’ etc which talks about the way politicians in the country manipulates the people and loot the country’s wealth for their personal gains.
Worlasi himself earlier yesterday revealed that he started preaching about this before the hashtags and that people should revisit the ‘The Man and The God’ album, “TMTG. We said all that before hashtags #FixTheCountry . But you didn’t listen !!!“
He also revealed that most celebrities can’t genuinely join the protest against the government because they took money from them to campaign during the last elections with some musicians even doing a song to endorse the current president’s candidacy.
He said he is afraid for his future as he might one day also follow the steps of these musicians to take money and endorse a politician since that is the only way musicians can also use to enjoy the money these politicians amass for themselves.
