Lynx Entertainment signee, Eugene Kwame Marfo, well known as Kuami Eugene, also known as Kuami Eugene has added his voice to the ongoing #FixTheCountry trend.

According to him, it is true that Ghana needs to be fixed regarding its challenges but the Ghanaian Twitter community needs to be attended to first before fixing the country.

Speaking in an interview with Brown Berry on the “RYse and ShYne” show on Yfm, the “Open Gate” hitmaker said that most celebrities have suffered in the hands on Twitter users.

He said that when there is put up their songs, Ghanaians turn to enjoy them to the fullest but whenever there is a negative news about them, Twitter user jump onto the platform and troll them massively.

It is at the back of the numerous trolls on the platform that the Contemporary singer said that the Ghanaian Twitter community needs to be fixed before the country itself is fixed.

People are out there on billboards. When you go to Times Square, there are pictures of some people from other countries and here, we concentrate more on the fight and how someone is not working. You put good news out there and only a few people enjoy it. You put bad news out there, it is everywhere, he said.

Well, Ghanaians have launched an online protest against the government, demanding for better governance. The youth are complaining about the lack of job opportunities as well as other amenities.
