Zamfara State Police Command has assured that the Ground and Aerial Team deployed by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to the state will not relent in sustaining the ongoing ground and aerial surveillance patrol in Zamfara State.
CP Abutu Yaro, who is the Zamfara State Command Commissioner of Police, congratulated Zamfara State Government and the parents of the abducted students following their release on Tuesday morning.
He also assured the people that a full-scale investigation to unravel the incident is in progress.

He promised that after the investigation, anyone found in connection with the abduction of the schoolgirls will face the wrath of the law.

In the statement, the Commissioner of Police appealed to the general public to provide security agencies with timely and useful information that can help to prevent crimes in Zamfara State.
