Gwira, March 1, GNA – The Chief and people of Gwira Ehyiam in the Nzema East District of the Western Region have lauded the President for awarding many of their feeder roads on contract and pleaded that the roads be tarred.
The residents claimed the untarred roads make travelling either in the rainy or dry season difficult.
“Because of the bad nature of the roads in Gwira area, life is unbearable,” the youths said and added that their greatest fear was the approaching rainy season.
The Chief of Gwira Ehyiam Nana Gwira, in an interview, thanked the government for awarding many of their roads on contract.
Some of the youths, who shared their experiences of the road, said they were happy now that a contractor was working on the road.
