Celebrated Hiplife artist Kwame Nsiah-Apau, popularly known as Okyeame Kwame, revealed in an interview that his song “Yeeko” was not intended to detract from the artists of the Kumerican movement.
“I also did an exercise song because it’s nice and people are enjoying it, ”he said.
Speaking of his support of the artists of the Kumerican movement on the Kastle Drive show, Okyeame Kwame, aka Rap Doctor, said that his immaculate support of his for the young artists of Kumasi is unquestionable and he praises them very much.”

He added: “As for the Kumerica movement, I have been supporting them for a long time, but it is not my song that is here to encourage them. I think what those young people have done in Kumasi is very commendable. “
Okyeame Kwame, who hails from the Ashanti region of Ghana, is one of the best musicians in the country and is credited with discovering the talents of his two younger brothers formerly known as Bradez, comprised of Flowking Stone and Kunta Kinte.
