Legendary filmmaker Spike Lee has ranked the former United State president Donald Trump with the likes of Adolf Hitler during his acceptance speech at the New York Film Critics Circle.

In a video that was recorded on January 6 few hours after Trump supporters invaded the Capitol building, he said the nation is on a crossroad and his hopes is for everyone to be safe since Trump supporters got guns with ammunition.
We’re at a crossroads now, and everybody please be safe. This is not a game. These people got guns with ammunition.
I hope to God that I’m wrong, but people are gonna get killed behind this bullsh*t.
This president, President Agent Orange, will go down in history with the likes of Hitler. These guys – all his boys – they’re going down on the wrong side of history.”
The video was played during the virtual annual ceremony for the New York Film Critics Circle over the weekend.
