Nigerian superstar singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, alias Wizkid, has revealed in a new interview that family is what keeps him grounded.

The 30-year-old father of three had a chat with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show over his latest studio album, ‘Made In Lagos’.

It got to a point where Lowe had to ask the Starboy Entertainment CEO to share the tools he applies to himself in order to create space.

Wizkid replied:

“Family”

Lowe then wondered how possible it is because family can drive him crazy sometimes. The ‘Joro’ crooner then answered that there are no lies in that too. But he insisted that family helps him and he has learnt to keep them close to his soul.

In his words:

I have three sons that I love so much with all my heart. I try as much as possible to be there for them – way deeper than my dad was for me. And my dad was a great, amazing man. So, definitely, family keeps me grounded.”
