Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has revealed she is grooming her kids to become musicians.

She disclosed this in an interview with the popular Ghanaian radio presenter, Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Wednesday.

According to her, they already have the talents adding that some of her children even play musical instruments like the violin.

In her submission, she said;

“I am grooming my kids to become musicians. They already have the talent. Some of them even play violins.”

In the same interview, she also spoke about her new single which features popular Ghanaian musicians, Efya and Akwaboah revealing what people have told her about it.

“”Thank You” was just a song to thank God for all the things He has done in my life. I wrote it three years ago. I wish the whole world would connect to sing “Thank You” because God has done a lot.

When I reached out to Efya that I wanted to do a song with her, she also expressed intentions to invite me to her concert. It was coincidental.

A Christian channel refused to play my song because it featured Efya and Akwaboah. I’ve had feedback from someone who said the collaboration with Efya and Akwaboah was unnecessary, and that, he’d only play the song on radio because he respects my brand. I think that was an unfortunate statement.”
