Former Governor of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba has expressed that former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu has the right to contest for presidency in 2023.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as an individual has the right to put himself forward, we have not zeroed in on an individual. Zeroing in on any individual will destroy our efforts now but Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has a right to pursue his own agenda,” he said.
Osoba, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress made this known while speaking on a television programme on Tuesday.

He also expressed that the South-West must unite and put its home in order to achieve success in the next presidential election.
The former Governor also revealed that there is a gentleman’s agreement in the APC that the South will produce Nigeria’s president in 2023.
He, however, noted that though “there is so much noise from the East”, nobody has contacted him or other chieftains of the party to show interest in running for president in 2023.
