Popular Francophone music star, Angélique Kpasseloko Hinto Hounsinou Kandjo Manta Zogbin Kidjo who is widely known in showbiz as Angélique Kidjo won the award for the Best World Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards.
She warded off some stiff competition from Nigeria’s Burna Boy and three other nominees to win the Grammy on Sunday at the Staples Center, Los Angeles.

The sensational songwriter who is also an actress and an activist is noted for her diverse musical influences and creative music videos.

Just after she won the award, Angelique Kidjo gave her speech for Best World Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards and during the speech, she dedicated the award to Burna Boy.
