In the last couple of years, Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer Burna Boy has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the African music space.
The self-proclaimed African Giant has not only been making big waves and taking giants strides on the African continent but also abroad.
The singer who is getting set for the release of his album, “Twice As Tall” has announced that the album will be released alongside a comic book “The Secret Flame.”
In his Twitter announcement, he disclosed that both the comic book and album will be released on the same day, August 14.
He shared:

The comic book is supposed to help the message of the album in perceptive.
The album which has American Rapper and Entrepreneur, Diddy as its Executive Producer boast of an impressive line up like Sauti Sol, Youssou N’dour, Chris Martins of Cold Play, Naughty by Nature, Stormzy.
Burna Boy also revealed that a merch for the comic book will also be released. In response to a fan’s question as to whether there will be an exclusive merch, he wrote:

Burna Boy’s “The African Giant” album earned him a nod at the 2020 Grammy Awards in the Best World Music Album category.
He lost the win to Beninese singer-songwriter, Angelique Kidjo.
Angelique Kidjo beat Burna Boy, Altin Gün, Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley, Nathalie Joachim & Spektral Quartet to win the award.
The Grammy Award for Best World Music Album is an honour presented to recording artists for quality albums in the world music genre.
