Member of Parliament for Tewa West, Carlos Ahenkorah has come in for severe criticisms from Ghanaians after he admitted to breaching Covid-19 protocols despite being positive.
Mr Ahenkorah visited voters registration cetres in his constituency with the full knowledge that he had tested positive and was supposed to be isolating.
This led to a social media hashtag #CarlosMustResign which forced him to step down from his role as Deputy Minster for Trade and Industry.
Almost everybody on Twitter has been criticising the lawmaker but one person, Serwaa Amihere landed herself into trouble when she did so.
The broadcast journalist tweeted in disbelief as to why an honourable man like Carlos Ahenkorah would commit an error of this magnitude.
However, social media users were quick to remind her of how many times she has breached the protocols herself hence doesn’t have the moral rights to criticise.
