Songstress Sister Derby doesn’t see anything wrong with beef in the Ghana music industry however, adviced artistes not to take it too personal.
There has been a series of beefs in recent weeks. Sista Afia versus Freda Rhymz which almost led to a fight on the premises of TV3 and then Medikal versus Eno Barony.
According to Derby, the former girlfriend of Medikal, disagreement occurs in every industry and sometimes as entertainers they use their craft to throw shades at each other but it shouldn’t be taken personal.
” if I want to diss someone, I throw shades through my music and I don’t mention the person’s name…if you feel the shade is addressed to you and take it personal, you are immature because you don’t have proof I was referring to you,” She said on Joy Prime.
“Beefs happen all the time and you mustn’t take it to heart because it is what makes the industry vibrant..”, she stated.
