Recently the dancehall king Shatta Wale made it on the Newyork Times Square, becoming the first Ghanaian musician to do that.
This history was much celebrated by the Shatta Movement fans and Ghana as a whole as history had just being made.

In a recent tweet by Shatta Wale, he said the win was not for only him to celebrate but also for the dancehall acts including, Stonebwoy, J.Derobie, Samini, Jupitar and others.
