Promising Ghanaian rapper, Tulenkey has vowed never to indulge in politics by recording a campaign song for any political party with the elections fast approaching.

Ghana goes to polls in December and with six months left, political parties could soon start campaigning. In Ghana, music is one key element in campaigning for votes. In the past, top musicians such as Daddy Lumba has recorded political song.

However, Tulenkey has vowed never to do such, considering his fans cuts across and wouldn’t like to hurt any one.

“My fans cut across. Some support NPP, some support NDC, some support PPP and all that so I wouldn’t want to go and stand for one. It would be like I’ve dawged boys so I’d rather remain anonymous”, he said.

When host of the show, Foster Romanus pressed further by asking if he will accept $500,000 to record a song for a political party, the rapper said he will decline.

“I don’t think I’ll do it. The money is huge but I just don’t find interest in those things so I’m not sure I’ll do it”, he stated.
