Below is the full message:

Eid Mubarak to Muslims in Dome-Kwabenya

The period of Ramadan is over, ushering in the Eid ul Fitr festival. I want to use the occasion to congratulate all Muslims, especially those in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency for the successful conclusion of their fasting to renew their relationship with Allah.

We pray and hope this important religious rite will heal our land and cleanse us of our sins.

This year’s Eid ul Fitr festival is different from previous ones because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has ravaged the world. I want to appeal to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Dome-Kwabenya to celebrate in moderation and adhere strictly to social distance protocols to stop the coronavirus from spreading in our community.

To our Imams and Muslim leadership in the constituency, who have continued to guide us spiritually, may Allah continue to bless you.

As you break your fast with the Eid ul Fitr festival, I want to stress on the need for us to continue to co-exist peacefully.

Eid Mubarak to all.
