COVID-19: Krowor MP aspirant, Naa Momo donates to Kpeshie police

Aspiring Member of Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress in the Krowor Constituency, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey has donated sanitizers, protective gloves, soaps, bottled water and assorted drinks to the Kpeshie Divisional Command, Nungua.

The gesture was to support the Divisional Command in their fight against the deadly Corona Virus in the Constituency.

The hard-working MP aspirant who has already donated Veronica buckets, sanitizers, liquid soaps and other items to the Nungua Police station decided to add this due to the lockdown which is currently in force.

Hon. Naa Momo reiterated her desire to help the Constituency in this trying times and expressed her readiness to respond to the calls of her constituents.

In her speech however, Hon. Naa Momo thanked the Police Service for their sacrifice and commitment in this period of Lockdown and admonished the police personnel to keep the good work.

She further informed the police service and the Constituency of her availability to assist with her expertise in International Relief Disaster Management in this difficult times.

“ I also want to lay to my international Relief and Disaster Management experience at your disposal” she added.

The police in their response through the Divisional Commander ASP Francis Tsidi thanked the MP aspirant for her gesture which is becoming regular. They assured the MP aspirant of their readiness to help in the fight against the Corona Virus .

They made it known that Nungua has not recorded any case of the Corona Virus so far and praised the residents of Nungua for comporting themselves throughout the period.

“ so far we have not recorded any major incident in enforcing the President’s Directive and the executive instrument as stipulated.” He made known.

Honorable Naa Momo Lartey was assisted by some constituency executives and other party faithfuls in presenting the items to the Kpeshie Divisional Police Command.
