Obour demands his dad’s autopsy from Ridge Hospital » ™

After it was reported that Obour’s father who passed away at the Ridge Hospital on Friday 27, 2020 had tested positive for coronavirus, many Ghanaians have descended o the musician for his negligence amid coronavirus outbreak in the country.

The aspiring Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem South and former President of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) according to earlier reports did not inform the health workers at the Ridge Hospital of his father’s travel history.

There have been ups and downs concerning his father’s death and the latest is that Obour together with his family in a letter has requested an autopsy report from the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Formerly Ridge Hospital) stating the cause of death of his late father, Nana Osei Boansi Kuffour.

The musician through his lawyers “Smith and Adelaide” served the Chief Executive Officer of the Health Facility a letter to carry out the post-mortem to determine the cause of his dad’s death.

The letter further stated that; “if the medical facility is not in the position to undertake the autopsy within the shortest possible time, their client [Obour] will offer to contract an independent medical officer to undertake the autopsy, subject to the safety measures and regulations governing such procedures.”

The autopsy report is being requested after reports alleged that Obour hid his dad’s travel history from medical personnel.

According to sources, Obour is said to have put the lives of health workers at risk because they took care of his father who passed on shortly of the deadly coronavirus, without any protective gears.
