Ghana international defender Kasim Adams Nuhu was entirely dropped from the Fortuna Dusseldorf squad for their 3-3 home draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga on Friday.
Meanwhile, the rest of his Ghanaian compatriots all made the Dusseldorf squad for the game with Nana Opoku Ampomah coming off the bench to play in the second-half while Bernard Tekpetey and Kelvin Ofori warmed the bench.
Dusseldorf took an emphatic 3-0 lead in the first stanza but the Flingeraners couldn’t believe their eyes as the visitors crawled into the game by equalising all three goals conceded in the first period.
Ampomah was expected to bring some attacking spark into the Dusseldorf team upon his introduction but he failed to deliver his mission as the game ended in an unsatisfactory draw.
Kasim Nuhu, who is on loan from TSG Hoffenheim, will have fight back to convince the Dusseldorf technical team of his form or count on availability of space within the starting line up to make a return into the squad.
