Ghanaian highlife singer Kaakyire Kwame Appiah
Ghanaian highlife singer Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has disclosed that he has 13 children though not with one woman.
In an interview on Onua 95.1 FM, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, known for several hit songs, further said nine of his children are males and the rest females and some of his children came through concerts.
This comes on the back of perceptions that due to the nature of their work, musicians get sexually attracted to some women and some even considering them as habitual womanizers who want to sleep with any woman who gets close to them.
In past, when musicians had to travel from one community to the other, they are said to have sexual affair with women from one community to the other.
Those who travelled across Ghana with bands are said to have children in every town or village they go.
“I’m not shy for disclosing my age and the number of children I have,” Kaakyire Kwame Appiah told Christian Agyei Frimpong, the host of Anigye Mmre.
“I can boldly tell you I have 13 children, 10 of them are out of the country and three are here in the university here in Ghana.”
Asked if he has plans of adding more, the highlife singer answered in the affirmative.
According to Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, the Bible admonishes man to be fruitful and multiply.
“I want to fulfill scriptures, very soon I will add two to the thirteen children.”
