Nii Tetteh Nyanyofio picks form to contest La Dadekotopon NPP primaries

Mr Gerald Joseph Nii Tetteh Nyanyofio, a lecturer at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), has picked up nomination form to contest the Constituency Primaries for the election of Member of Parliament on the ticket of New Patriotic Party(NPP) for the La Dadekotopon Constituency.

The respected lecturer was followed by a large number of party supporters amidst brass band music.

The delegation was welcomed to the office by the Chairman of the NPP Executives, Samuel Kingsley Addison who after receiving the cheque for the nomination form advised the aspirant on the need to conduct a clean campaign devoid of character assassination and mudslinging.

He said the party would expect a campaign which after the election would unite all aspirants to stand as one people with a common goal of retaining the seat for the party.

Mr Addison told the aspirant that already the incumbent MP, Vincent Odotei Sowah and one Comfort Adei Kotey have picked their nomination forms to indicate their willingness to contest the primaries.

He wished the aspirant well in his endeavors to contest the primaries and reiterated the need for a clean campaign.

Mr Nyanyofio pledge his support for a clean campaign and stressed that the call by teeming supporters had urged him to become part of the candidates to contest the election.

He said that there many development projects,he would initiate when the

opportunity was given to him to lead the party to win the December polls.

Mr Nyanyofio said he had the tracked which speaks volumes of what he can do and therefore urged the delegates to vote massively for him.

Meanwhile, the La-Kpaa Wulomo, the Spiritual Leader of all Deities in La prayed for victory for the aspirant when he paid a courtesy call on him at his residence on the way to picking the nomination form.
