Boy Killed, Several Injured As Boko Haram Bombs Borno Mosque

Following the attack by Boko Haram sect on a mosque in Gwoza, Borno state, on Sunday, a 12-year-old child has reportedly died and many others injured.

The attacked reportedly linked to twin suicide bombers were said to have forced their way into the mosque while prayer was going on.

According to a resident, the insurgents may have infiltrated the town during a wedding which held at the palace of the emir of Gwoza on Saturday.

The unfortunate event ocurred around Guduf Nagadiyo at Bulabaulin in Gwoza.

The mosque has now been condoned by soldiers from 192 battalion of the Nigerian Army.
