Reggae Artiste and Radio Presenter, Blakk Rasta is still on his live band agenda. Blakk Rasta is one man who has been championing the Live Band agenda for sometime now.
In an interview with 4Syte TV, Blakk Rasta disclosed that live band is an International thing, and no big Artiste in the world mimes, they do live band, and he also revealed that he’s the one who taught dancehall act, Stonebwoy how to perform with live band.
He said,
“Live band is an International thing. I’m the one who taught Stonebwoy how to perform with live band, you can ask him if i’m telling lies, and i’m glad Stonebwoy took live band serious”.
Taalking about Shatta Wale not performing with live band, Blakk Rasta said,
Big Artiste like Shatta Wale and still miming is a no-no. I was the one who taught Shatta Wale how to perform with live band. He’s growing, this miming won’t help him in the long run”.

“Shatta Wale wants to get to the Grammy stage, but you can’t mime at Grammy Award, i don’t hate Shatta Wale at all, i’m just telling him the truth to start performing with live band, that’s all. No superstar mimes, they perform with live band” .
