According to information from reliable sources, he is set to contest NPP primaries in Akwatia which is currently occupied by Mrs. Mercy Adu-Gyamfi popularly known as Ama Sey.
Even though his counterpart, Ama Sey who attended Presby Middle School in Akwatia in the year 1988 and obtained Middle School Leaving Certificate (MSLC) is believed to be popular owing to her good human relations with her constituents, Kumi Guitar is very confident of his chances of winning.
