Singer Sista Afia says lots of people, including rapper Sarkodie, judged her from her looks even before they met.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM about perceptions people have about her, the ‘Weather’ singer said even rapper Sarkodie told her she is very different from who she is on social media.

The revelation came up after one of the panelists on the show, Kweku Adu-Kumi, told her she looked sober in person than her too ‘sexy’ personality on social media.
Responding to his claims, Sista Afia nodded positively, saying, “even Sarkodie said the same thing. He was like I never knew you were this good. He said people were focusing on my personality and not my music.”
The singer revealed Sarkodie disclosed those words to her when she was recording her verse on his ‘Broken Heart’ song off his Black Love album last year.
According to Sista Afia, she wouldn’t want to be judged
based on her looks because it forms part of her music craft.
She explained that as a songstress and performer, there is
the dying need for additives that would make her stand out.
