A fire outbreak which occurred at Asokwa Tunsuom in the Asante Region has burnt down about 17 stores. <\/p>\n

The fire which occurred on the 6th January destroyed several properties and thousands of cedis.<\/p>\n

Reports say that, while all seventeen stores were completely burnt, the only thing which escaped the raging fire was a Bible.<\/p>\n

A lot of people have been put in a state of shock after the Bible was retrieved from the debris.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Among the stores destroyed were provision shops, a book shop, a pharmacy and others made of freight containers.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, fire fighters at Bekwai and Fomena aided to put out the raging fire before it cause further damages.<\/p>\n

The Bekwai Municipal Fire Commander, DO2 Amos Abban, said no lives were lost, adding that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the fire<\/p>\n
