Canadian born American singer Justin Bieber has disclosed his long-suffering experience with a health condition for some months now.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Justin Bieber in an Instagram post, he has been battling with Lyme disease, an infection caused by bacteria.<\/p>\n

The singer shared the news <\/p>\n

\u201cWhile a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber looks like s***, on meth etc. they failed to realize I\u2019ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health,\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Bieber wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese things will be explained further in a docu series I\u2019m putting on YouTube shortly,\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Bieber concluded his post. \u201cYou can learn all that I\u2019ve been battling and OVERCOMING!! It\u2019s been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever.\u201d <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, roughly 300,000 Americans are diagnosed with Lyme disease each year. If untreated, the infection can spread to the joints, heart and nervous system, leading to joint pain and swelling. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
