We<br \/>\nmay have challenges here and there, but it\u2019s a special hall and has produced<br \/>\naccomplished people who are contributing their quota towards the development of<br \/>\nthe nation,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">The Pro<br \/>\nVice-Chancellor was speaking at the maiden Annual General Meeting of the<br \/>\nAtlantic Hall Old Students Association of the UCC held in Accra, to reorganise<br \/>\nthemselves and build a stronger alumni.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Prof. Edu-Buandoh,<br \/>\nwho chaired the meeting, urged them to be committed towards the cause of moving<br \/>\nthe Association to a greater height.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">The alumni of the<br \/>\nGreat Atlantic Hall, who proudly called themselves \u201cThe Old Mariners\u201d,<br \/>\nexchanged pleasantries and sang memorable songs, reminiscent of the good old<br \/>\nschool days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">They reviewed the<br \/>\nprovisions in the Constitution and made proposals for adoption, while others<br \/>\nsuggested ways to enhance their welfare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">A seven-member<br \/>\ninterim national executive was sworn into office to steer the affairs of the<br \/>\nAssociation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">They are Mr Derick<br \/>\nAgyei Gyamfi, Acting National Chairman, Mr Kofi Diaba, Acting National Vice<br \/>\nChairman, Mr Dennis Takyi, Financial Secretary and Ms Juliana Annang,<br \/>\nSecretary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size:11.0pt;font-family:&quot;Tahoma&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">The rest are Mr Kofi<br \/>\nMarfo, Organiser, Mr Joseph K.
