Officers from\u00a0Palm Beach County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to a 911 call\u00a0from a Lake Worth Beach resident who heard what sounded like a distressed woman calling for help from a neighbour\u2019s house.<\/p>\n
When the deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered that the\u00a0distressed cries were coming from a playful parrot.<\/p>\n
The deputies upon arrival at the house found\u00a0a man working on his wife\u2019s car in the driveway while someone can be heard shouting, \u201cLet me out! Let me out!\u201d<\/p>\n
The homeowner introduced the deputies to the origin of the cries, his pet parrot on an outside perch.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was changing the brakes on my wife\u2019s car and had my 40-year-old parrot, Rambo, on his outside perch where he sings and talks,\u201d the owner wrote. \u201cSometime later four police officers showed up saying a neighbor called because she heard a woman screaming for help. I promptly introduced the officers to Rambo and we all had a good laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The man said he then introduced the neighbour who made the 911 call to Rambo and she \u201calso had a good laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the man, he taught Rambo to shout \u201clet me out\u201d when he was a kid and the bird was living in a cage inside his family\u2019s home.<\/p>\n
