Musician Wanlov the Kubolor has disclosed that he knew from the onset the relationship between Medikal and his sister Deborah Vanessa (Sister Derby) had a wobbly wheel but endorsed it because he did not want to come across as an \u2018enemy of progress\u2019.<\/p>\n
The FOKN Bois member speaking on 3FM\u2019s ShowBuzz noted that he could tell from a distance that \u201cMedikal was a guy who likes women\u201d but refused to caution his sister, hoping that she would realize the danger ahead and jump accordingly.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom his lyrics\u2026 He was talking about all different kinds of women and he was not saying those things for shows. Somehow, as a musician, if you\u2019re really real to your craft, most of the things you say are things that you\u2019ve done or want to do. So if she was looking at those signs, she would not be as hurt or surprised as she was,\u201d said Wanlov who had earlier indicated that he is \u201cnot hundred per cent sorry for Deborah because everybody has to learn and grow.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Astounded by Wanlov\u2019s remarks, MzGee, host of the show asked why \u201ca big brother\u201d would publicly endorse the relationship of his sister having noticed a red flag.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cYeah, as I\u2019m saying, I was hoping she will [know] on her own,\u201d Wanlov replied. \u201cI haven\u2019t seen him do any kind of move that I never liked before. But from the lyrics of his songs, you have to realize that this person wants a certain kind of lifestyle.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cPeople who are in love would even lie to themselves that the truth is something else just to convince themselves to keep going. They\u2019d probably start looking at you like \u2018oh you don\u2019t like my relationship\u2026\u2019 so you just hope that they realize on their own,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> he added. <\/p>\n <\/p><\/div>\n
