– –<\/span> MzVee\u2019s sudden disappearance from the music scene caused an uproar on social media especially since she managed to release hit songs back to back in 2017 and 2018.<\/p>\n There were several rumors that she was pregnant hence the need for her to quit music.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n – –<\/span> MzVee has however come to explain what really lead her to flee the music scene for sometime.<\/p>\n Speaking with\u00a0 Berla Mundi on TV3\u2019s New Day on Monday, January 6, 2020, MzVee disclosed that she was suffering from\u00a0 severe depression which lead her to do some soul searching.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen my whole depression thing happened, I did un-follow people\u2026I just wanted time away. I was lashing out in ways I didn\u2019t even understand\u2026I pulled away from everyone\u2026I coiled up in my shell,\u201d She stated.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n MzVee further added that her depression was so severe that she would hide in the corner of her room and cry her eyes out<\/p>\n The \u201ccome and see my mother\u201d hit maker\u00a0 added that\u00a0 despite the seriousness of her condition, she did not consult any psychologist or therapist for assistance but rather resorted to the counsel of her colleague songstress and best friend Efya.<\/p>\n According to MzVee, Efya understood her condition and helped her overcome it .<\/p>\n \u201cshe understood my condition and helped me during that time,\u201d she recounted.<\/p>\n MzVee also appreciated her family for standing by her throughout her healing process.<\/p>\n Another good news for her fans is that she is back to the music industry bigger and better and would be releasing her first single for 2020 soon.\n<\/p>\n – –<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
