The Annual Grammy awards have acknowledged Wizkid, Burna Boy, Mr Eazy and others who played a vital key in the just ended Afrobeat concert.<\/p>\n
The Afrobeat concert has been described as one of the best international music concert. The Grammy body\u00a0today acknowledged efforts incorporated by some African artistes in putting out what we call \u2018The New African Sound\u2019s.<\/p>\n
In statement released,\u00a0it stated \u201cCurrently, Afrobeats is the next international sound sweeping pop music\u201d<\/em>. This is quite a recognition and a big deal for the African society. Oh, and yes, we are proud of how far we have come<\/p>\n The Annual Grammy Awards\u00a0ceremony is set to go down in three weeks; 27 January 2020. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Recording Academy highlights all these landmarks, including Wizkid\u2019s recent feature in Beyonce\u2019s \u2018Lion King: The Gift\u2019 album. Efforts contributed by Burna Boy and Mr Eazi are also not marginalised. Not to forget Tiwa Savage\u2019s mega music deal with Universal Group.
