The depreciation of the Ghana cedi against its major trading currencies is being blamed, at least in part, on churches and how they manage their finances, Rev Obofour has observed.<\/p>\n

As stated above, the founder and leader of Anointed Chapel International, Francis Antwi, popularly known as\u00a0Reverend Obofour\u00a0to his best knowledge has admonished Ghanaians to stop blaming Dr Mahamudu Bawumia\u00a0over the depreciation of the cedi.<\/p>\n

According to him, most of the churches after Church Service on Sundays change all their monies into other foreign currencies. \u201cWith this, there is always instability because if government works on stabilising the cedi during the week, the Churches after doing their transfers make the cedi weak again\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

Rev Obofour , therefore, noted that the Church has been Ghana\u2019s bane since and the leaders of the churches should desist from such evil acts so that Ghana can develop.\n<\/p>\n
