Controversial Ghanaian social commentator and former Hiplife musician Kwame A Plus has berated the documents released by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Nana Addo that stipulated all expenditures incurred by the government in 2019.<\/p>\n
Following the release of the list of expenses they made under the year of review, a lot of Ghanaians especially those in the opposition has reacted and slammed the Akufo Addo led administration of corruption and misuse of state funds.<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0Kwame A-Plus\u00a0who was very active during their 2016 campaign, the president spent one million, nine hundred and eighty thousand, twenty-five cedis and twenty-three pesewas (GHC1.980.025.23) on refreshments popularly referred to as \u2018chilling\u2019.<\/p>\n
His vice also spent one million, nine hundred and eighty thousand, twenty-five cedis and fifty pesewas (GHC1.980.025.50) on the same expenditure.<\/p>\n
That is really an insane figure for a country that is developing.<\/p>\n
He wrote: This means that the vice president \u201cchilled\u201d 27 pesewas more on refreshments than his boss. This is gross disrespect.
