Anyone who has waited in an hour-long Ticketmaster queue for\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9\u00a0tickets will know that the demand is high, and tickets are as expensive as ever.<\/p>\n<p>As 2019 draws to a close,\u00a0<em>Forbes\u00a0<\/em>has amalgamated its annual musicians rich lists to reveal just who has made the most millions throughout the decade, from 2010 \u2013 2020. The magazine uses touring data, music consumption numbers, interviews agents and managers to assess the estimated wealth of living musicians.<\/p>\n<p>Click through for a list of surprising and not-so-surprising revelations as to which musicians have made the big bucks this decade, in ascending order.<\/p>\n<p>10. Lady Gaga<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/lady-gaga-arrives-at-the-premiere-of-warner-bros-pictures-a-news-photo-1577185101.jpg\" alt=\"Richest musician of decade\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>NEILSON BARNARD\/GETTY IMAGES<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>A Star Is Born\u00a0<\/em>actress has amassed $500 million (\u00a3386m) thanks to the five albums she released throughout the decade (<em>Born This Way, Artpop, Cheek to Cheek,\u00a0<\/em><em>Joanne<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>A Star Is Born\u00a0<\/em>album<em>)<\/em>\u00a0and live shows, including her\u00a0Las Vegas residency.<\/p>\n<p>9. Sir Paul McCartney<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/sir-paul-mccartney-poses-for-photograph-at-the-hey-grandude-news-photo-1577186183.jpg\" alt=\"richest musicians decade\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>TIM P. WHITBY\/GETTY IMAGES<\/p>\n<p>Despite The Beatles breaking up in 1969, the 77-year-old has earned $535 million (\u00a3413m) between 2010 and 2012 thanks to his ongoing solo career, which has involved world tours, a collaboration with Kanye West and Rihanna and a number one album with\u00a0<em>Egypt Station\u00a0<\/em>in 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Jay-Z<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/jay-z-performs-onstage-at-something-in-the-water-day-2-on-news-photo-1577186453.jpg\" alt=\"richest musicians decade\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>CRAIG BARRITT\/GETTY IMAGES<\/p>\n<p>The rapper, producer and entrepreneur has earned $560 million (\u00a3433 m) over the past ten years, according to\u00a0<em>Forbes.\u00a0<\/em>His accumulation of wealth has mainly come from the many companies he\u2019s built and invested in (champagne and cognac brands, Tidal, art collections and more) but he\u2019s also earned a tidy sum of money from two tours and an album with Beyonc\u00e9. Considering all this, it\u2019s no surprise that\u00a0<em>Forbes\u00a0<\/em>titled him\u00a0the first billionaire rapper earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Sir Elton John<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/sir-elton-john-attends-the-photocall-for-rocketman-during-news-photo-1577186863.jpg\" alt=\"richest musicians decade\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>EAMONN M. U2<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/irish-rock-band-u2-bono-the-edge-adam-clayton-and-larry-news-photo-1577187751.jpg\" alt=\"richest musicians decade\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>DAVE J HOGAN\/GETTY IMAGES<\/p>\n<p>The Irish rock band, fronted by Bono, have earned a tidy $675 million (\u00a3521m) thanks to their tours. Their 2011\u00a0<em>360\u00a0<\/em>tour grossed the most amount of money ever, according to the money magazine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/beyonce-knowles-performs-onstage-during-2018-coachella-news-photo-1577188005.jpg\" alt=\"richest musicians decade\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>KEVIN WINTER\/GETTY IMAGES<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>ELLE\u00a0<\/em>cover star\u00a0earned an estimated total of $685 million (\u00a3529m) over the past decade, largely in part to her successful decade as a solo artist. Over the past 10 years, Beyonc\u00e9 has released five albums \u2013\u00a0<em>4, Beyonc\u00e9, Lemonade,\u00a0<\/em><em>Everything Is Love\u00a0<\/em>with husband Jay-Z and to cap of the year\u00a0<em>The Gift,\u00a0<\/em>a soundtrack from<em>\u00a0The Lion King,\u00a0<\/em>and toured extensively.<\/p>\n<p>2.
