Kim Kardashian<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nReality TV star Kim Kardashian has revealed she underwent five operations within a year and a half to \u2018fix the damage\u2019 caused by pregnancy.<\/p>\n
The mom of four said she got damaged following the births of her children, North, and Saint West.<\/p>\n

After delivering the daughter her placenta didn\u2019t come out but grew inside her.<\/p>\n
After delivering her second child, North, Kim said she underwent five operations to \u2018fix the damage\u2019 caused by the pregnancy.<\/p>\n
Speaking in a video for her new SKIMS campaign, Kim said: \u2018When I was pregnant with my daughter North, I had a condition called preeclampsia or toxemia, which is basically when the mom\u2019s organs start to shut down.<\/p>\n
\u2018The only way to get rid of that is to deliver the baby. At 34 and a half weeks, I had to go into emergency labour \u2013 they induced me. North was four pounds. She was almost six weeks early.\u2019<\/p>\n
She added that after having her baby, her placenta never came out but grew inside her uterus, warning: \u2018That is what women die from in childbirth.<\/p>\n
She continued: \u2018After my daughter was born, I still continued to do the process of freezing my eggs.<\/p>\n
\u2018I was able to get pregnant through that with my son Saint, and then I had two embryos left. I had the same condition, same awful delivery that I had with my first daughter.<\/p>\n
\u2018After that, I had to have five different operations within a year and a half to fix the damage that all of that did on the inside.\u2019<\/p>\n
She recalled: \u2018I asked my doctors, \u2018Can I do it one more time?\u2019 And they were like, \u201cWe won\u2019t even put an embryo in you \u2014 that would be like malpractice\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n
Kim concluded saying all the struggles were \u2018worth it\u2019. She concluded: \u2018I\u2019m so thankful for my beautiful kids, no matter how they came to me \u2014 they came to me. I\u2019m so thankful for surrogates. I\u2019m really thankful for my family. I grew up with so many siblings. I just loved being in a big environment.<\/p>\n
\u2018I would have gone through the same pain and back for the result of having my babies. It was all worth it.\u2019<\/p>\n
