{"id":761031,"date":"2019-12-09T11:40:14","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T11:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2019\/12\/09\/serene-insurance-opens-ho-branch\/"},"modified":"2019-12-09T11:40:14","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T11:40:14","slug":"serene-insurance-opens-ho-branch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/12\/09\/serene-insurance-opens-ho-branch\/","title":{"rendered":"Serene Insurance Opens Ho Branch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Eric Seddy Kutortse spea king at the ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serene<br \/>\nInsurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of the First Sky Group, has opened a<br \/>\nnew branch in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital.<\/p>\n<p>It<br \/>\nlaunched the new branch over the weekend with a promise to be highly professional.<\/p>\n<p>Founder<br \/>\nand Chairman of the First Sky Group, Eric Seddy Kutortse, in a statement on the<br \/>\noccasion, noted that Serene Insurance was incorporated out of a genuine desire<br \/>\nto see a paradigm shift in the manner in which insurance business was conducted<br \/>\nin Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0He said the Insurance Company stood out as \u201cthe<br \/>\nnew face of insurance\u201d not only by redefining public perception through prompt<br \/>\npayment of legitimate claims, but by introducing a service culture that placed<br \/>\nthe client at the heart of everything it did. <\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\nHo Branch was the first of its kind outside the Greater Accra Region, since<br \/>\nSerene Insurance Company Limited was licensed in April 2018, and subsequently<br \/>\ninaugurated in September of the same year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFounded<br \/>\non the time-tested core values of the First Sky Group, which include integrity,<br \/>\nhard work, excellence and good corporate governance, the company is growing in leaps<br \/>\nand bounds thanks to the Grace of the Almighty God and it is fast earning the<br \/>\ntrust of Ghanaians as their preferred insurer,\u201d Mr. Kutortse said. <\/p>\n<p>An<br \/>\nannual report of the National Insurance Commission (NIC\u2019s) revealed that only<br \/>\n30% of Ghanaians have insurance cover, whilst motor insurance which was the<br \/>\nmost common and dominant product, contributed only 37% of gross premium in<br \/>\n2018. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat<br \/>\nthis means is that, there is still huge and untapped potential in several<br \/>\nregions, including the Volta Region which has a growing motor hub in various<br \/>\ncommercial districts,\u201d according to Mr. Kutortse.<\/p>\n<p>He added that \u201cSerene Insurance is therefore here to help bridge the gap that exists between the widespread need for insurance services as against the extreme concentration of such services in Accra and its surrounding areas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <strong>BY Melvin Tarlue <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eric Seddy Kutortse spea king at the ceremony Serene Insurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of the First Sky Group, has opened a new branch in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital.
