Ex-President John Kufuor and President Nana Akufo-Addo<\/strong><\/p>\n

FORMER
\nPRESIDENT John Agyekum Kufuor seems to be up in arms
\nagainst critics of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n

He
\nsaid he was particularly upset about critics of the President, who have sarcastically
\nnamed the President as \u201cKing Promise\u201d.<\/p>\n

According
\nto the former President, King Promise, to his understanding, is meant for a
\nperson who only promises but fails to deliver.<\/p>\n

He
\nstrongly argued that President Akufo-Addo had almost fulfilled all his 2016
\ncampaign promises, for which reason \u201cKing Promise\u201d doesn\u2019t fit him.<\/p>\n

Mr.
\nKufuor was addressing the people that witnessed a sod-cutting ceremony for the
\nconstruction of a school in his honour at Dabaa in the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n

Setting
\nthe records straight, Mr. Kufuor said the best nickname or title for President
\nAkufo-Addo is \u201cPromise and Deliver King.\u201d<\/p>\n

The
\nformer President asked, \u201cHow can you give King Promise title to President
\nAkufo-Addo? This name or title is unacceptable. King Promise title fits leaders
\nwho only give plenty of promises and yet they fail to fulfil them,\u201d he
\ninsisted.<\/p>\n

Mr.
\nKufuor said President Akufo-Addo had virtually fulfilled all his campaign
\npromises and deserved commendation.<\/p>\n

The country, he observed, had within three years been returned to the path of prosperity by the NPP government \u201cso the President deserves Promise and Deliver King\u201d.<\/p>\n
