Mike Nana Prempeh<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Tema Regional Police, CID,
\nare on the heels of a certain Mike Nana Prempeh, native of Kumasi, for allegedly
\ndefrauding a Ghanaian US resident, of US$180,000.<\/p>\n

Armed with a Tema Circuit
\nCourt Warrant, the CID in their brief facts narrated that in 2018 the
\ncomplainant, a certain Dr. Ernest Addo, sought to enter the gold business upon
\nhearing about the suspect who was said to be already in the business and
\nsubsequently linked up with him.<\/p>\n

The communication ended up
\nwith the complainant parting with US$180,000 being the cost of 10 kilograms of
\ngold.<\/p>\n

Although after making the
\npayment, the delivery was supposed to be done within the shortest possible
\ntime, it was not done. <\/p>\n

In June this year, the suspect
\nasked the complainant to proceed to Ghana for collection of the gold. It turned
\nout that the suspect did not have any gold to give to the complainant,
\nsomething which became clear when he touched down in Ghana.<\/p>\n

The facts continued that upon
\narrival the complainant went to the suspect\u2019s house on several occasions, but
\ncould not meet him. Suspect\u2019s phones were switched off as he went into hiding,
\nthe police brief facts indicated. <\/p>\n

The complainant turned to the
\nTema Regional CID, to lodge a formal report. Police frantic efforts to locate
\nthe suspect have not yielded any dividend, as Prempeh continues to be out of reach.\n<\/p>\n

The public is being encouraged
\nby the Police to report the suspect\u2019s whereabouts to the nearest police station.<\/p>\n

The suspects is said to be
\nabout 45 years old and of medium build.<\/p>\n

According to the police, he is fair complexioned and a bald headed man and was last seen wearing a pair of brown trousers and blue, white and pink shirt and could be hiding in Kumasi.<\/p>\n
