This is part of the Fidelity-MoMo @ 10<br \/>\nFinancial Literacy programme, a CSR initiative of the Bank targeted at<br \/>\nfacilitating community development.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a short but colourful presentation<br \/>\nceremony at Chorkor Chemunaa in Accra, the Director of Transactional Banking, Fidelity<br \/>\nBank, Gladys Thompson, stated, \u201ccommunity development is one of Fidelity Bank\u2019s<br \/>\ncore values as a financial institution and this educational support seeks to demonstrate<br \/>\nthat,\u201d adding that, \u201cFidelity Bank has led all the initiatives and innovations in<br \/>\nthe Mobile Money space with the ultimate aim of improving lives in communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Our partnership with MTN mobile money dates back to<br \/>\nits inception, 10 years ago, as the first partner bank for mobile money<br \/>\nservices. Working together with MTN has been extremely successful in cultivating<br \/>\nthe habit of saving in our communities and broadening financial inclusion. We want<br \/>\nto celebrate this success by giving to these young future leaders of Ghana, she<br \/>\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>On his part, the CEO of Give Me Hope Foundation,<br \/>\nWisdom Dordoe, said, \u201cSociety will be a better place if we get more<br \/>\norganizations like Fidelity Bank to invest in the future of under-privileged<br \/>\nchildren. We are encouraged as an organization to continuously support these<br \/>\nchildren and we believe support from the Bank will boost their confidence and<br \/>\nthat of their parents,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event also witnessed a special financial education<br \/>\nsession by officials of Fidelity Bank to some parents of the beneficiaries and members<br \/>\nof the community at Chorkor, which focused on the need for them to save using<br \/>\nMoMo &amp; Y\u2019ello save. <\/p>\n<p>As part of the Fidelity MoMo @ 10 Financial Literacy program<br \/>\nand CSR initiative, selected pupils in JHS were given the rare opportunity to<br \/>\nparticipate in a special tour at the Mamprobi branch of Fidelity Bank.
