A NEW online
\ndriving service by name TopazTaxi was recently launched to add to the
\nincreasing competitive online driving environment. <\/p>\n
Akosua Boakye,
\nBusiness Development Partner at Streams Consulting Limited, a franchisee of
\nTopazTaxi, said TopazTaxi was in Ghana to fill the gap left by other operators.<\/p>\n
She also said it
\nwas ready to render its services nationwide and also introducing lifetime
\npackages to driver partners. <\/p>\n
\u201cAs we speak
\nTopazTaxi is available in all the regional and districts across Ghana.
\nTopazTaxi is again challenged by the fact that even the cities in Ghana still
\nhave road transportation gaps which needs to be filled. It\u2019s a big challenge
\nevery morning and evening to see trolls of commuters waiting for a bus or
\ntaxi.\u201d <\/p>\n
Theophilus Opoku,
\na technologist and transport industry analyst, who was special guest of honor
\nat the ceremony, said \u201cThis is not just another competitor in the Ride-Hailing
\nApp Market, but the game changer for the transport market. \u201cTopazTaxi gives
\nriders the option of a posh Private Saloon, SUVs, Yellow Taxi, Courier Service,
\nCar Rentals, Car Pooling and more. Riders are given the choice of paying for
\nthe trip with cash, mobile money and later to be added credit\/debit card.\u201d <\/p>\n
The app is
\navailable at the Google and Apple stores with a dedicated app for Drivers \u2013
\nTopazDriver with amazing features. This an all-inclusive online transport app
\nwith very exciting features that gives variety to riders. <\/p>\n
In addition, plans
\nare far advanced to incorporate into the app, online mechanic, a provident fund
\nscheme, access to \u2018work and pay\u2019 schemes, police hotline and many more. <\/p>\n
The business model
\nof TopazTaxi is to work with franchisees to ensure excellent customer care for partner
\ndrivers and riders.<\/p>\n
Angela Acheampong,
\nCustomer Care Partner at Streams Consulting, noted \u201cour prices are adjusted to
\nmeet the changing fuel prices while offering great incentives to cushion
\ndrivers and riders.\u201d<\/p>\n
