Y. N. N. Oquaye (Jnr), for what<br \/>\naccording to them, is his Leadership role in the area of \u201cInternational<br \/>\nAffairs\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The authorities also recognized<br \/>\nhis success in creating a new paradigm in the Indo-Ghana trade Relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The Doctorate degree was<br \/>\nconferred during the 9th Convocation Ceremony at the premises of the university\u2019s<br \/>\ncampus with the Union Minister of Minority Affairs, Shri. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi as<br \/>\nthe chief guest of the occasion and Chancellor Arif Buhari Rahman, who declared<br \/>\nthe convocation opened.<\/p>\n<p>Others in attendance were his<br \/>\nwife Mrs Maureen Oquaye, Head of Consular and Welfare \u2013 Mr Aaron Sintim, Dr<br \/>\nKarthick Sridhar, Mr Yaw Kwakye, Ghanaian Phd. Students at Crescent, other<br \/>\nGhanaian students in the State of Tamil Nadu and many others.<\/p>\n<p>In his<br \/>\nacceptance speech he said he was overwhelmed by the gesture. That of<br \/>\nover 150 missions in India he was singled for recognition, was exciting.
