A 24-YEAR-OLD self-style fetish priest has been
\narrested by the Sege District Police Headquarters for allegedly butchering his
\naunt.<\/p>\n

The sad incident occurred at Goi \u2014 a village at Sege within the Ada West District
\nof the Greater Accra Region. <\/p>\n

Isaiah Tetteh Sebbie reportedly inflicted
\nmachete wounds on Tornyersi Sebbie \u2014 his
\nfather\u2019s sister who is believed to be about 60 years \u2014 for reasons yet to be established by the
\npolice.<\/p>\n

Confirming the incident to DAILY GUIDE,<\/em><\/strong> Deputy
\nSuperintendent of Police (DSP) George Aboagye, Commander of the Sege District
\nPolice Headquarters, said the victim was brought to the police station with
\nmultiple deep wounds on the upper part of her body. <\/p>\n

The police officer said the victim was rushed
\nto the Ada East District Hospital but heard later that she had passed on.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice went to the hospital and the medics at
\nthe facility confirmed the death before the corpse was sent to the Police
\nHospital morgue for examination and preservation,\u201d the Commander stated.<\/p>\n

DSP Aboagye explained that report available to
\npolice indicated that family of the deceased woke up on Sunday morning and
\nfound her with deep machete wounds, adding \u201cthe woman told her family that the
\nsuspect assaulted and inflicted machete wounds on her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The suspect was immediately arrested from his hideout in the area to assist in investigation. <\/p>\n
