VOLTIC (GH) Limited introduced its new twist bottle to consumers on Thursday at a colourful ceremony in Accra.<\/p>\n

The launch was
\npart of the company\u2019s goal to drive the recycling message and invite consumers
\nto be a part of our eco-friendly journey. <\/p>\n

The new twist
\nbottle which has 7% less plastic gives consumers the ease of twisting the
\nbottle after consumption as Voltic continuously develop sustainable ways to
\nmanufacture, distribute and sell its products.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the
\nlaunch, Francois Gazania, Managing Director of the company, indicated that
\n\u201cwhen we grow our business the right way, not just the easy way, we help create
\nopportunity for our communities, our customers, our employees and our
\nshareholders. <\/p>\n

\u201cWith the growing
\nconcern about the spate of plastic pollution in the world over culminating in
\nthe recent launch of the Ghana National Plastic Action Plan, it has become
\nobvious that the more sustainable way to manage plastic waste is to collaborate
\nwith all stakeholders along the value chain. This starts with an action to
\nencourage segregation and recycling of post-consumer plastic right at source.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a business
\nwho has made environmental
\nsustainability part of its quality brand offering, Voltic has in line with its unbridled commitment to recycling,
\nremodelled its bottle into an eco-friendly pack affirming The Coca Cola
\ncompany\u2019s 2030 commitment towards a World
\nWithout Waste<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raymond
\nMensah-Gbetivi, Sales & Marketing Manager of Voltic, added that \u201cthe new
\nTWIST is now our identity at Voltic as we respond to the ever-changing consumer
\nneeds and position Voltic as a brand with purpose.<\/p>\n

The Coca-Cola
\nCompany and all its bottling partners are leading the industry to help collect
\nand recycle a bottle for everyone we sell by 2030. We\u2019re working to bring
\npeople together to help us collect and recycle a bottle we sell.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further added
\nthat \u201cthe Twisty journey is summed up in the tagline: \u201cDrink, Twist and Recycle\u201d,
\nwhich is a call to consumers to be part of the recycling agenda of the brand\u201d.<\/p>\n

The colourful
\nevent brought together key players in the recycling industry, the media,
\ninfluencers and Stonebwoy, who was introduced as the brand ambassador of Voltic
\nto champion the brand\u2019s agenda of sustainable plastic management in line with
