I pray the<br \/>\nyouth of Ghana will rise against these two wolves. May the good Lord give<br \/>\nstrength.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He<br \/>\nwas reacting to the presentation of 20 cars to the NDC by former President John<br \/>\nMahama in the run-up to the opposition party\u2019s presidential primaries when he also<br \/>\nasked: \u201cAre we ready for another bout of loot and share?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take Action Ghana (TAG)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His call on Ghanaian youth to<br \/>\nrise against officialdom ties in seamlessly with his pet project\u2014Take Action Ghana (TAG)\u2014which is busily mobilizing the youth and<br \/>\nsecurity agents to change Ghana. <\/p>\n<p>With<br \/>\na target of GH\u00a2685,200, TAG, through donations, has raised GH\u00a2472,183 from<br \/>\n\u2018donatees\u2019 as he gleefully captured the feat in his Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p>On<br \/>\nits website, TAG has some 5,569 members including police officers, teachers and<br \/>\nengineers and still counting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTAG:<br \/>\nMaking Ghana A Better Place. Join Us Today\u201d is the call for the membership of<br \/>\nthe youth TAG of which he is founder.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TOGETHER AS ONE FOR CHANGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objective of TAG is \u201cto<br \/>\nmobilize Ghanaian citizens\u2014both home and abroad\u2014towards a common goal to make Ghana a better place<br \/>\nfor us and the generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Continuing,<br \/>\nit says TAG seeks to have individual members \u201cto belong to a particular chapter<br \/>\nsuch as tro-tro drivers, taxi drivers, civil servants, police, army, nurses,<br \/>\ndoctors, teachers, Ghanaians abroad, engineers, scientists, economists,<br \/>\nfinance, unemployed young graduates, pastors, clergy, imams, etc \u2026\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>TAG Security<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It<br \/>\nwould be interesting to determine how many soldiers or police officers belong<br \/>\nto TAG considering the fact that security personnel are by the nature of their<br \/>\nprofessions barred from the membership of such groupings, let alone seen<br \/>\npartaking in their activities. <\/p>\n<p>It<br \/>\nwould be recalled that Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, in his<br \/>\nstatement following the arrest of the Alajo Bomb Doctor, pointed at TAG as part<br \/>\nof the destabilization web being spawned by Dr. Frederick Mac-Palm. <\/p>\n<p>His<br \/>\narrest over the illegal production of IEDs and stockpiling of weapons at his<br \/>\nCitadel Hospital at Alajo in Accra, coupled with the youth mobilization project<br \/>\nof TAG, is one of the areas being looked into by intelligence personnel. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Close To Target<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objective of TAG, which<br \/>\nwas mentioned in the government statement on the arrest of the doctor and the<br \/>\nblacksmith as mobilizing Ghanaian youth with a view to destabilizing the<br \/>\ncountry, is subtly captured in one of his posts\u2014\u201cMobilising<br \/>\nGhanaians. Making Ghana A Better Place Join Now\u201d. He also posted: \u201cWe are close<br \/>\nto our target.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\ndoctor\u2019s anti-establishment posts and reposting of stances repugnant to<br \/>\nofficialdom speak volumes about his project. <\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\nposts of the US-trained medical doctor are carefully crafted to conceal his<br \/>\npolitical inclination hence his aversion to the two political parties\u2014NDC and NPP.<\/p>\n<p>He<br \/>\nappears to have inclination for a revolution with TAG as the backbone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deleted Stuff<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His<br \/>\nFacebook page is replete with many deleted segments that suggest censoring by Facebook<br \/>\nmanagers. <\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\ninvestigators in the weapons case are reported to be in possession of ample<br \/>\nevidence from social media communications, among others. <\/p>\n<p>He<br \/>\nhas posted stuff such as the \u2018Drop That Chamber\u2019 from a soldier and the \u2018Zuma<br \/>\nIs A Thief\u2019 outburst from a female South African legislator, among others, on<br \/>\nhis Facebook page. <\/p>\n<p>On<br \/>\n13<sup>th<\/sup> July when Sam George and an NPP person were engaged in polemics,<br \/>\nhe reacted thus \u201cthat is what all these two parties and their members do. The<br \/>\nsad thing is that we sit and watch their concerts after election period. Really<br \/>\nsickening!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Should We Continue?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His<br \/>\nreaction to the report about rusty motorized tricycles purchased for the<br \/>\nSavannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) on July 13 was \u201csomething<br \/>\nmust be wrong with us if we really want to continue on this tangent as a<br \/>\npeople.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Love With Soyinka<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He<br \/>\nappeared to have fallen with award-winning Nigerian anti-establishment poet and<br \/>\ncritic\u2014Prof. Wole Soyinka\u2014when he posted on is page the man\u2019s remarks: \u201cIt<br \/>\nis only in Africa where thieves regroup to loot again and the youth whose<br \/>\nfuture is being stolen will be celebrating.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where Are We Going?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His<br \/>\nNovember 9, 2018 post reads: \u201cFolks, is this our motherland Ghana? Where are we<br \/>\nheading with all these? I do not think we should blame the current government<br \/>\nalone for these unfortunate occurrences. These situations are seen in both<br \/>\nNDC\/NPP regimes alternatively. Our heads of public services make the situations<br \/>\neven worse. I keep saying that we need a serious mindset change so as to<br \/>\nRESTRUCTURE our governance system before situations as such escalate to serious<br \/>\nones that we may not be able to control. We are slowly but surely getting there<br \/>\nfolks. It\u2019s really a sad commentary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>It Is A Plot<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His<br \/>\nremark \u201cIt is a plot\u201d when he was leaving a court on Tuesday had people<br \/>\nthinking about what he meant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Court Case<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr.<br \/>\nFrederick Yao Mac-Palm alongside Ezor Kafui, a local weapon manufacturer<br \/>\n(blacksmith), and Bright Allan Debrah Ofosu, aka BB or ADC, are being tried for<br \/>\ntheir roles in the stockpile of arms retrieved from the Citadel Hospital at<br \/>\nAlajo in Accra last Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Their<br \/>\narrests have sparked heated debate over the motives of the suspects, as some<br \/>\nsections of the public are even mocking the entire episode.<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\ngovernment has, however, insisted that the busted stockpile of arms was<br \/>\nintended for an attack on the Presidency, and a subsequent overthrow of the<br \/>\ngovernment.<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\naccused persons are facing a total of five charges\u2014all in connection with the<br \/>\ndeadly explosives and ammunition they were caught with.<\/p>\n<p>Together<br \/>\nthe three, as well as one suspect only identified as Suley, are facing two<br \/>\ncounts of conspiracy to manufacture arms and ammunition, and unlawful<br \/>\npossession of explosives and firearms. <\/p>\n<p>Kafui<br \/>\nis facing an additional count of manufacturing arms and ammunition without<br \/>\nlawful authority.<\/p>\n<p>He<br \/>\nis further accused of manufacturing 22 explosives hence another count of<br \/>\nmanufacturing firearms and ammunition without lawful authority.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Frederick Yao Mac-Palm is also facing another count of possession of explosives and firearms\u201422 explosives, six pistols, three grenades and five pieces of ammunition without lawful authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By A.R.
